Looking great – finally all sorted.
She growls ALL of the time and when she is not growling, she ROARs 🙂
Elliot managed to get in Daddy’s good books on Saturday morning by spilling a drink in her – immediate ban on all drinks and food in the car – indefinite limit applied 😐
We have ordered rear seat media entertainment to be installed in three weeks so the kids are looking forward to movies and / or TV when travelling 🙂
Still not sure about inviting the dog in – have ordered a waterproof load liner to enable his spare hair to be more easily ejected post dog trips 🐶 🚗
Yesterday was a sad day for us all – we said goodbye to a (relatively) faithful friend – Bruce. We have enjoyed fun times together along with sad times when he refused to start or wouldn’t lock his doors.
At the same time, a new adventure has begun with a suave young lady who is similarly going to bring fun and adventure into our lives – we are just hoping she does not have Bruce’s stubborn nature and therefore does not feel the need to let us down occasionally.
So, let us introduce you to Penelope (Penny for short)….
Finally, we have Sky in the house – or Sky Q rather.
It is going to take some getting used to as the user interface is very different from that which we are used to….
we have also been challenged with car stuff today also – the insurers won’t cover us unless the car has a tracker installed – we were wanting to collect it this Friday but we can’t get a tracker fitted befor next Tuesday. Following many phone calls, it transpires that Landrover fit the cars with a Cat 6 system at the factory so we have managed to sort it out thankfully and now have got the free 7 day insurance lined up to hopefully help us get across the migrating the VAR72 plate onto the car.
Incidentally the car is called Penelope, or Penny for short 🙂
Penny…. Penny…. Penny…
Finally, which of course means poor Bruce is also heading out.
A cheeky 4.4 litre V8 diesel Autobiography Dynamic RRS is on the way – might be with us as early as next weekend….
We hope you have enjoyed a fun day – we’ll pop round tomorrow with a wee gift 🙂
Finally, Simon has installed the 30W LEDfloodlights in place of the 70W Sodium floodlights that were installed. They look great and actually provide a little more light than the previous floodlights – we need to figure out if we want to replace the light sensor with the infrared detectors to only pop the lights on when there is movement in the front garden.
At just 60W, it might be simpler to leave the lights on at all times when it is dark outside in honesty….
We have also installed a couple of double power sockets with USB chargers today – one in the Snug and one in Elly’s bedroom.
We hope you have a fab day despite the journey out to the sunshine 🙂
